About me
I am a designer, a strategist and a micro-business founder and owner. My work over the past 25 years has focused on positioning products and companies, defining and communicating their value, and creating connection. This has given me insights and understanding into the branding and marketing challenges businesses face.
On a personal level, I understand the critical role of independents, small business and entrepreneurship in societies across the globe, I want to be in their corner. I have the skills and experience to help their brands launch, scale, transform, connect and reposition as things evolve.
I’ve always been a designer, strategist and a creative professional, migrating across creative and commercial disciplines as technologies emerged, markets shifted, and to feed my insatiable curiosity. I understand the breadth of the landscape and I join up the various disciplines that are necessary in shaping brands in their day to day digital behaviours, written and visual expression.
I founded and ran a micro brand and marketing agency in Cape Town for 15 years, an experience that taught me how to partner with entrepreneurs and growing businesses for the long haul and to get the most out of limited resources, tight budgets and timeframes. I closed my agency to relocate to the UK where I now work closely with business owners, crafting brands and embedding positioning, proposition and personality in day to day messaging.
